Product details
RP - 612 Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primer is a high-performance, corrosion-resistant coating widely used for protecting steel structures in harsh industrial and marine environments. It consists of zinc dust dispersed in an inorganic silicate binder, providing excellent galvanic protection to steel surfaces. When applied, the zinc particles act as sacrificial anodes, preventing rust and corrosion even if the coating is damaged. This primer offers outstanding resistance to weathering, abrasion, solvents, and high temperatures, making it suitable for bridges, offshore platforms, storage tanks, pipelines, power plants, and petrochemical facilities. Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primers exhibit excellent adhesion to properly prepared steel substrates and serve as an effective base coat in multi-coat protective systems. They also provide long-term durability and reduced maintenance costs. Due to their superior performance and environmental resistance, these primers are often specified for critical infrastructure projects where extended service life and reliable corrosion protection are essential requirements.
